James Wright, who also known as the "Kapuso Teledrama Theme Song Prince" welcomes the year 2017 with his second album under GMA Records dubbed as "Just Wright". The EP contains six songs and six backing tracks, carrying the official theme song of the local adaptation of My Love From The Star entitled "My Destiny".
James shared that this album expresses the different side of James because aside from singing ballad and love songs, he is now into singing Pop songs which is included in his second album. He explained also that all the songs in his album wants to tell everyone that there's a reason why those things happen in our life.
The original songs in the EP include Ibig Bang Sabihin, Please Come Back, Open Up, Lahat ng Aking Pag-ibig, Mahan Na Nga Kita, which are composed by several hitmakers and award winners including Vehnee Saturno, Dodjie Simon and Edmund Perlas.
One of James favorite songs in his album is entitled "My Destiny" because everyone can feel the emotion especially when people sang it together, it is a great feeling. James is so proud because his song "My Destiny" will be used as the theme song of the new GMA Primetime show, "My Love from the Star", starring Jennylyn Mercado and Gil Cuerva. 

The Kapuso crooner feels proud of his album as it shows the different side of his personality and talent as an artist. He introduced his album as, "Sort of like a refresher kasi good vibes lang eh. Hindi puro senti, hindi puro masaya. Mixed talaga, and that's the ambition with the EP. To show na there is diversity talaga as an artist."
When I asked James how does he takes care his voice, he just said that he continues what he has been doing since he was a child and that is he shouts on his pillow. But he still have the routine that he does just right before his performance, he just drink warm honey lemon not too sweet. Another thing that he shared that I think is the most important of all, specially being a singer is to keep on practice, practice and practice.

The event highlighted the launch of AjiPanda™ icon, information sharing on umami and monosodium glutamate (MSG) and the contract renewal of Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo as the brand endorser of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning.

Dr. Frances Tan, a medical doctor with specialization in General Pediatrics, and a sub-specialty in Allergy and Immunology, was invited to impart basic facts about umami and monosodium glutamate. She explained that umami is the 5th basic taste that allows people to enjoy the delicious taste in food. It is also described as “savory” or “malinamnam”. The source of this umami taste is glutamate. Glutamate is a non-essential amino acid that naturally occurs in food like tomatoes and cheeses and can be found in salt form through monosodium glutamate.
Scientific evidences from credible institutions like the World Health Organization (WHO), The United Nation’s Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (UN JECFA), were presented to affirm the safety of MSG for general consumption. Dr. Celeste Tanchoco, a veteran in the field of nutrition, was also present to shed light about the role of glutamate in nutrition.

MSG is a no no in our house, I love cooking, my husband don't like MSG on our food, but I grow up putting umami which my moms does it until now. There are some instances that I requested my Mom to cook in our house and of course she can't cook without it, she told me that it will enhance the flavouring of the food, suprisingly my hubby like it.

I will tell my hubby what I've learned during Ajipanda Best Day ever like Umami is the 5th basic taste. Glutamate is responsible for the umami taste and its natural form of NA Salt does not cause Chinese Restaurant Syndrom ( well I will definitely elaborate this one to him), does not deform babies, does not cause cancer, not harmful to young infants, not responsible for degenerative neurologic diseases and is helpful to patients requiring a low NA diet and lastly MSG is safe.

On the other hand, Does MSG cause allergies? Glutamates are not an allergens as explained during the event. MSG is the Na salt form of glutamate, allergens are usually caused by food proteins.

Hope some of my readers like mommies are enlighten about MSG, just like what I will do to my hubby to let me allow to use MSG in our food.

Last Thursday, I was invited to attend a presscon about "Dreamplay by Dreamworks", I was delighted and amazed of the way they did with their stage and of course the three characters that are not new to me, because my kids like them.  Here they are:

Maybe This Time is a film that every fan and movie buff should not miss as it marks the very first big-screen collaboration of Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo who are arguably two of the biggest and most bankable stars of ABS-CBN today.


Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and written by Anton Santamaria and Melai Monge, Maybe This Time is a love story centered on Steph Asuncion (Sarah Geronimo) and Tonio Bugayong (Coco Martin). Steph and Tonio are polar opposite and the only thing they have in common is the fact that they fell in love with each other. Circumstances beyond their control eventually compelled them to trek separate paths and lead different lives until they finally meet after so many years to confront an unfinished business that may or may not be resolved. After leaving Steph, Tonio became involved with an unlikely girlfriend in the person of Monica (Ruffa Gutierrez) who happens to be the boss of Steph in the PR firm she is working Monica's world. Will their burning passion with each other be finally rekindled or will they conclude a major chapter in their lives and simply move on? Ultimately, Tonio and Steph will be reminded of the great significance of time and the inevitability of change in their relationship.

It will be a Valentine's feeling this Summer of 2014 because of the movie Maybe This Time, it is the biggest, highly anticipated and most unforgettable romantic film of the season. According to Papa Coco, hahaha, that what I called Coco Martin, “Sa movie na to, dito lang talaga ako gwapo kasi pag agawan ba naman ako nina Ruffa G at Sarah G”, hahaha that was fun, a loud laugh came out from Papa Coco.

One of the question during the Grand Press Conference that the three main cast need to answer is...Can you add a phrase to the title of your movie “Maybe This Time...?”

Ruffa answered it surprisingly with this “Maybe This Time I'll fall in Love again”. For Coco “Maybe This Time Sobrang nagtiwala sila akin kaya masaya ako na nakatrabaho ko sila” while Sarah Geronimo said “Maybe This time ma appreciate ng tao na maglevel up ang aking acting”. She disclosed that she was known doing a RomCom Movie, so she wants other genre or other movie not just a RomCom.

Maybe This Time also stars Ogie Diaz, Dennis Padilla, Marlann Flores, Zeppi Borromeo, Garlic Garcia, Minnie Aguilar, Boboy Garovillo, and Sharmaine Buencamino.

So, my husband and I will definitely watch this movie, to feel a sort of Kilig, hahaha. So let your hubby or your wife or maybe your girlfriend or boyfriend have a bonding moment while watching “Maybe This Time”.

Not my favorite of movie genre but Moms like me needs to be informed and of course my hubby loves action movie plus my kids are boys.  It's much easier to deal with them if I know things that boys does.  So perhaps this will be the start of me being dragged into action movies.

Since I'm a mom and most of the time I'm at home with the kids and during afternoon, TV series keeps me entertained.  One of the TV series that I used to watch, Ejay Falcon was the lead star and I can say that he truly is one of the new breeds of action star. 

Two of today's hottest young actor, Ejay Falcon and Joseph Marco collaborates in an action packed movie entitled "Saka Saka".  It is Cinebro's offering for movie goers this holiday season and this is their entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival's New Wave Full Feature Film category.  Great for the Dads and yuppies who loves action movies.



"Saka Saka" is about the story of two brothers, Alex Abueg played by Ejay Falcon and Abner Abueg played by Joseph Marco, who lives the life of being a political assassin or commonly called in their area as Saka Saka.  The intriguing and violent acts of politics happening in some provinces were exposed in this movie.  According to Director Toto Natividad, "this are actually happening."  These people live their lives as political assassin as their way of gratitude to the politicians who provided them means of livelihood, farming in particular and in Filipino it is called "sakahan" in which the Saka Saka came from.  This movie explores and shows the age-old conflict between lawful righteousness and violent revenge.  Set against the contrasting backdrops of rustic, provincial life and the fast-paced, modern culture of the metro.


Ejay Falcon, who is one of the most bankable young action stars in the industry today after his recent top-rating afternoon series on ABS-CBN Gold Dugong Buhay, says that he has such big shoes to fill as he is chosen to be one of the lead actors in the opening salvo of Cinebro.  According to him, "It's such an honor for me to be part of Saka Saka.  A lot of great action stars came before me and it is both a challenge and an inspiration to keep their legacies alive in the silver screen."

While Joseph Marco who is a model turned actor is thrilled to be one of the leads in his very first full-length feature film.  He said, "It's such a wonderful blessing to be given the opportunity to work with Dire Toto and Ejay.  This is the first time for me to play one of the leads in a full-length movie and I thank ABS-CBN as well as the entire staff and crew and my co=actors fro the trust and support that they continue to give me.  I learned a lot and I grew as an actor in making this film."

Here is another activity that will definitely touch the heart of others and of course me.  I love this kind of advocacy!  Helping unfortunate ones to go to school and finish their studies.

This is one better way to help those deserving scholars to pursue their studies.  I am very sure that those students who will achieve their dreams will be very grateful and thankful.  I can attest to that because I for once used to be a scholar way back when I am still studying.  I finished my studies because of those people who openly shares what they have to someone like me.
