Khalil Ramos officially Signs as A Kapuso Artist Under GMA Artist Center

Last October 13, Khalil Ramos officially signed an exclusive management contract with GMA Artist Center, which makes now a Kapuso Artist. The signing is graced by different personalities such as GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, and GMA Artist Center Seniour Talent Manager Joy Marcelo.

Khalil 's entry as part of the Kapuso Network makes a great deal for him and he's happy about it. And he is very much excited to be able to collaborate with such talented skilled people of GMA. He shared also that he felt loved! Everyone that he met so far on the said network has been very welcoming.

Khalil entered the entertainment industry in 2011 at the age of 15. From then on, he has grown into a multihyphenate for much of his career: a filmmaker, a content creator, a host, a performer, and a highly-regarded actor.

Khalil's acting prowess was notably noticed in some of his films, some of these are the Filipino Netflix film 'Dead Kids" directed by seasoned filmmaker Mikhael Red. He is also part of the lead cast in the film 'Honor Thy Father", such as in Erik Matti's award winning film, and as the leading man in the multi awarded film 'LSS' together with Gabbi Garcia.

Not that he is a certified Kapuso, Khalil looks forward to portraying challenging roles that GMA is known for highlighting on screen.

"I'd definitely want to take on roles that are acting pieces, Some that I could thing of are roles in a heavy drama series. Thriller and suspense roles would be great as well. Comedy is also something that I'd like to explore after doing Dead Kids. I am really interested in roles that would challenge me as a storyteller,: he related.

Driven by passion and creative eye, Khalil co-founded Limitless Production House with his friends. As its CEO, director, and producer, he collaborates with the country's top directors and cinematographers, on and off the screen, as an actor and metenee.

Khalil revealed to his fans that they should look forward to more of his captivating music and creative storytelling in his new home network. According to him they can expect a whole lot more stories from him as an actor, he is going back as well to singing, and he is hoping to have a travel of documentary style show on GMA News TV.

He added that he hopes to work with various Kapuso stars including Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, Michael V, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Janine Gutierrez, and Gabbi Garcia among others.

During the contract signing, Rasonable feels glad to officially welcome Khalil in the Kapuso Station. "We're very happy that he's now with Artist Center. We're looking forward to having project with him. He's a musical artist. He performs so makikita natin siya sa All-Out Sundays and other musical shows that we'll have in the furture. He also acts. He acts really well. Bibigyan natin siya ng Magpakailanman and syempre, andyan yung drama series, yung soap operas next year/"

Meanwhile, Ferrer is also excited to work with the newest Kapuso star and reveals that different guesting across all GMA platforms have already been lined up for Khalil, "We know how talented and passionate he is in his craft so we are excited to see what more he can offer. His fans have a lot to watch out for."

Aside from his career, Khalil also shared his appreciation towards his best partner/girlfriend for supporting him. They truly in love with each other. Khalil also shared what she likes about Gabbi Garcia

The Culmination Night GMA's Blogger Style Camp

It was fun when I attended the Bloggers' Style Camp Culmination Night. The night was great and of course plenty of Kapuso stars. It was last month when I heard that some of my Blogger Friends did a photo shoot competition which is part of GMA Network's celebration of its 65th year. The theme was "Making a Difference in the Hearts and Lives of the Filipino People" and with this year the Kapuso station introduced one of its biggest innovations in the digital platform which is the Bloggers' Style Camp. It is a fashion photography competition.

The competition goes like this, there are four teams and each team consists of GMA artists teamed up with the most influential entertainment, lifestyle, beauty and fashion bloggers. Of course each blogger which is paired with GMA artists got their own style and forte.

First team is GabRu, Gabbi Garcia and RuRu Madrid with Bloggers Alwin Aguirre and Rocky Batara. Team GabRu went for an avant-garde environment-themed pictorial.

Second is the Team Biguel, Bianca Umali and Miguel TanFelix together with the Bloggers namely Gracee Bongolan, Rochelle Rivera and Iyane Escarpe, their team showcase the importance of Education.

Next is the Team KrisJoy, Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin with Bloggers Rain De Ocampo and John Michael Bueno. Team KrisJoy captures the concept of anti-bullying.

The last but not the least, the Team RaStro, Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro with Bloggers Jeman Villanueva and Stanley Briz. Team Rastro translated their roles in the ground breaking series The Rich Man's Daughter to campaign for gender equality.

The first batch of photo layouts was released online via www.gmanetwork.com/bsc and through the website fans were given chance to vote for their favorite teams on the following categories; People's Choice Award, Female Super Stunner Award and Marvelous Male Award.

All of the layouts went through rigorous judging by Style Camp's Distinctive panel of judges, namely advertising photographer, Mr. Rene Mejia, actress and host, Ms. Nina Ricci Alagao and creative consultant, Mr. Celso Divino.

The judges deliberated thoroughly to which team had the most creative interpretation and presentation of the theme based on the following criteria: creativity and originality, composition, relevance to the theme and artistic merit. It was indeed hard to judge specially when all of them got different themes but of course these judges needs to pick the team that speaks of and interpreted the theme given to them.

The awarding was held last July 17, 2015 at the URBN Bar and Kitchen in Bonifacio Global City and here the list of the winners;
