What happens when mothers come together to celebrate their personal advocacy of wellness? A Wellness Moms Movement emerges- a movement of change by mothers rallying as one for a better and healthier lifestyle.
Celebrity mothers and special guests were present during the official launch of Wellness Moms by Procter & Gamble and Robinsons Supermarket held recently at Marco Polo Ortigas, where different aspects of motherhood—Baby, Family/Household, and Personal Wellness—were openly discussed by celebrity mom guests Denise Laurel, Nikka Martinez-Garcia, and host Issa Litton during the talk show that highlighted as well P&G’s own wellness products and how they fit into one's life.
For example, Mom’s son returns home after playing outside, washing his hands with Safeguard for 99.9% germ protection before eating dinner. After mealtime, Mom can now easily wash away the grease of the dirty dishes with Joy Antibac, as well as any stains on her son’s clothes with Ariel Power Gel. Beauty Queen Miriam Quiambao had her own share of trials. "I draw a lot of strength from my faith. I had my own share of dark moments which lasted for years. My healing journey was filled with feelings of gratitude, positive thoughts, and lots of prayers. I believe Filipinas are strong because we love to pray," she said.
Businesswoman, columnist, and civic-minded lady Mons Romulo believes that women can learn a lot each from other's experiences. "No one is excluded from hardships. I like sharing my story because I want other Filipinas to learn from my challenges," she said.

On the topic of the current state of Filipinas in society, Maria Clara Ignacio, Chief of TESDA's Women Center states, "The presence of Filipinas in the workforce has had a big impact in the economy. Thanks to their skills, there is considerable industry growth in the country. In TESDA we believe that development is for all. Men and women should have the same opportunities."

Ms. Emmeline Verzosa, PCW Executive Director, also shared, "Society has learned to appreciate the uniqueness of the hardworking Filipina. They are not only dedicated to their jobs; they also strive to be good wives, good mothers and good daughters. Sadly, often times they put other people's needs before their own."
