Weekend is what my family loves most. This is our bonding time and this is our family activity. It was an afternoon of fun and an extra ordinary picnic day without the sun with Dora’s Best Friends Picnic which happened at the SM Megamall Event Center. Little Nicksters like our little ones enjoyed the day. It was a fun-tastic learning and playing with the family and fellow Dora the Explorer fans. Yes our little ones are also Dora’s fan. I can hear my kids mumbles some Spanish terms and one of them is “Vamonos amigos!” My kids are very much familiarized with Dora and Diego, aside from seeing it on TV they were also able to watch it online which let them memorize some of the lines and songs even the theme song.   

 
Who says only single ladies could have the fun of shopping for sexy and fashionable shoes? Well, this mom, wouldn't want to be left behind when it comes to shoes, though we're not much of a fashionista but lets just say that this mom is still lady with needs. Shoes are ladies girl power. A power that mesmerizes men when walking sexy with the shoes. I was glad that C'NTRO is just in the right place, a sexy moms place for shoes.

I'm pretty much sure ladies with my age have heard the name Centropelle and have used their line of shoe products. Now, the owner Ms. Nicole Lopez introduces a new haven of shoes for the young working professionals and it is called C'NTRO. A centro without the “e”.


Aside from shoes they also have a variety of bags and wallets, of course all for the ladies. Take these bags and wallets are great matches for their collection of shoes. So it's up for the fashionista or not so fashionista to mix and match with it.

The opening of C'NTRO in Ayala Fairview Terraces was graced by one of the celebrities like Jef Gaitan who happens to have enjoyed mingling and having selfies with the bloggers and other onlookers. It was a rainy after of cocktails and chit chat with the owners of C'NTRO. Now, there's a near place for me to look for shoes that matches my personality, not just as a mom but as lady.

You can visit C'NTRO at the 2nd Floor of Ayala Fairview Terraces. Who knows we might bump into each other when shopping there.

Washing dirty clothes, this is just one of the chores that we, Moms, does in the house for our family. As a mom, I should see to it that my family are wearing clean clothes everyday. So, to ease the over load of dirty clothes, washing machine is a big help and always to the rescue. And speaking of laundry, I had experienced the difference of handwash and hi-tech washing machine during the Midea Lab-A Fair.
Just yesterday I was glad that I'm one of the luckiest moms to ever attended the Midea event.  One, the Midea Lab-A Fair is just close to my location as it is held in our barangay, Brgy. Holy Spirit and two, I got an extra advance Christmas gift after the event.  Though the gift that I had wasn't the washing machine I was looking forward but still I'm very much thankful.
The Midea Lab-A Fair is held to let families, especially the moms and dads, to experience the power of a Midea One-Touch Washing Machine.  For this particular day, Midea's Lab-A-Fair was held in Barangay Holy Spirit along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.  Families trooped to the barangay covered court for the said event and to personally see and experience first hand what Midea washing machines, particularly the Midea One-Touch Washing Machine, are all about.

Doing the laundry may not be the most endearing of all household chores, but Concepcion Midea Inc. (CMI) made sure that starting today, Filipino families will find doing the laundry to be fast, convenient, time-saving and affordable.

For one whole day, the Midea Lab-A-Fair showcased the helpful capabilities of the Midea One-Touch Washing Machine in enabling families to take charge of their laundry. With just one push of a button, they can now wash, rinse and dry their laundry and ensure better efficiency and delicate handling of their wash load.
A total of 10 Midea One-Touch washing machines were installed for the Midea Lab-A-Fair, with 8 positioned at the “One Touch Laba Station” at the court, and 2 units at the Demo Truck parked nearby. Each washing machine unit has a power meter installed to showcase its P1 per wash load capability.

The free laundry activity allowed 100 registrants to do the free One Touch trial, with a maximum of 8 kilos of laundry per person. To participate, barangay residents first went to the weighing stations to determine the weight of their laundry, after which, the laundry was then placed in a special bag complete with a number tag that served as the resident’s queue number for the One-Touch Laba Station. While waiting for their laundry to finish, a handful of Midea Specialists talked about the innovative special features of the Midea One-Touch Washing Machine.
Once done, the clean laundry was then placed in a special Midea laundry bag.

But the Midea Lab-A-Fair was not just about washing clothes for free. As an added treat to Barangay Holy Spirit residents, special activity booths were also set up to highlight the washing machine’s features and to deliver more fun and excitement.
The booths featured entertaining games such as “PISO Roleta Game,” “Magic Cube Game,” “Water Control Game,” and a photobooth was also set up where residents had their photos taken and got a free souvenir from Midea.
And the most awaited parts of the event were the special Midea Lab-A-Fair truck, a special entertainment show hosted by Gelli Victor and Gabe Mercado with thrilling games like the “One Touch Game” and the “Pera O Batya Game,” and of course the raffle, where lucky residents took home special prizes like Midea Laundry Packages and brand-new Midea Microwave Ovens.
Of course as part of the media present in the event , yours truly was able to won in a special raffle for the media and take note what I have won... it's a Midea Digital Microwave Oven, which I am very much thankful, as I mentioned earlier it is an early christmas gift. Too bad I didn't won the One-Touch Washing Machine but anyway congrats to the who have won it. Thank you very much. Now, I can serve better food for my family using the microwave oven while doing my laundry.  Of course it would be great to have that One-Touch Washing Machine of Midea.

Last Thursday night, July 31 together with some of my blogger friends, we were able to experience what EATS @ SM FAIRVIEW has to offer. For moms who are tired and bored of the usual fine dining for their family then you might want to experience this kind of night market. EATS @ SM FAIRVIEW is the new dining destination of the area where casual food trippers can indulge as they taste samples from some forty different food vendors and kitchens.







This food bazaar will offer favorite local specialties such as crispy pata, bagnet and dampa-style grilled seafood. International selections include American rib eye steaks, authentic Japanese takoyaki and Chinese noodle soups. Those with smaller appetites can snack on freshly-made shawarmas, Ilocos empanadas, and Cebu chicharon. Delectable desserts like buko sorbets, puto bumbong, assorted cakes and pastries also await those with a sweet tooth.


If you love music, then you’ll probably enjoy dining here as the entertainment will be provided by acoustic musicians and DJs.
