Ted Failon’s weekly investigative program “Failon Ngayon,” on the other hand, won the bronze world medal in the Current Affairs category for the episode “Tagas ng Minahan” (Mine Leaks) that probed the environmental hazards caused by mining spills in relation to a sediment flow incident that contaminated Balog river (in Itogon, Benguet), all the way to San Roque Dam (in Pangasinan).
