Last July, GMA Afternoon prime offers the TV Adaptation of the 1992 Block Buster Movie, Sinungaling Mong Puso. It is a masterpiece of Maryo J. Delos Reyes.
It was portrayed by Vilma Santos, Gabby Concepcion, Aga Muhlack and Aiko Melendez and the modernize television remake of Sinungaling Mong Puso cast led by Rhian Ramos, Rafael Rosell, Kiko Estrada and Jazz Ocampo.

The story revolves around Clara (Rhian), the abused wife of the womanizer Roman Aguirre (Rafael) who comes from an influential political clan. Instead of giving to the agony of her plight, she chooses to hope and remain resilient for the sake of her family. Until she accidentally meets Jason (Kiko), a man who will love her for real. However, he is ten years younger that her. He, like Clara is unhappily married to Hannah (Jazz) who is pregnant with their child.

Rhian Ramos who portrayed the role of Clara who was first played by The Star For All Season Vilma Santos realized that she has given a big break because Vilmanians appreciated how she did the role. Check out the interview to Rhian on what she learned from the teleserye.

While Rafael Rosell who played the role of Roman, who originally played by Gabby Concepcion did his very best. According to him the role is very challenging that he needed some research about the role. He shared also that after the teleserye he need to take a rest and have time for himself to relieve from his role as a sociopath.
Kiko shared that he felt pressured on his mature role as Jason, it was played before by Aga Muhlach. He said that he is a big fan of Mr. Aga Muhlach. He relate himself to his character that both Jason and Kiko needs to prove something.

JC Tiuseco and Gee Canlas as Jolo and Jillian respectively are part of the cast. Both of them shared that they found a family on the set and true friends. And hoping that they can work again together for another project.

Completing the cast of "Sinungaling Mong Puso" are Michael De Mesa as Mayor Moises Aguirre, ROman's corrupt father who wants him to keep his political power within their family; Glydel Mercado as Raquel, the perfect trophy wife of Mayor Moises; Cheska Diaz as Helen, Jason's understanding mother; Sherily Reyes as LIza, Hannah's controlling mother; Stephanie Sol as Camilia, Roman's mistress; and Gab De Leon as Vin, the right hand of Roman.

Today (October 13), another milestone is set as GMA Network airs the remake of the well-loved drama series. Yagit, on afternoon Prime after The Half Sisters.
Created by Eddie Ilarde and Jose Miranda Cruz and became a household name in the 80s, GMA Network takes pride in Yagit's newest child wonders Chlaui Malayao, Zymic Jaranilla Judie Dela Cruz, Jemwell Ventinilla, who will breathe life to Eliza, Ding Joceln, TomTom respectively.



Yagit also presents a stellar cast of the country's most respected artists in film and television: Yasmien Kurdi as Dolores Macabuhay, Eliza's loving ang selfless mother who came from a poor family and resorts to becoming a GRO to make ends meet: James Blanco as Victor Guison, Eliza's rich and kind-hearted father who will easily fall in love with Dolores despite her social background; LJ Reyes as Flora Fabro, the stepmother of Jocelyn and Tomtom, who believes money makes the world go round; Renz Fernandez as Roman Guevarra, the good looking policeman and protector of the Yagits: Kevin Santos as Kardo Macabuhay, Dolores' ever dependent brother and the father of Jocelyn and Tomtom; and Wowie De Guzman as Chito Asuncion,the vengeful ex-boyfriend of Dolores.


Completing the cast are respected and talented actors Rich Ausncion as Odette, who feels she deserves Victor; Frank Magalona as Bruce, Victor's ric best friend' Ina Feleo as Imelda, Dolores' close friend who was also a GRO before; Maricris Garcia as Cece, Victor's cousin and Bruce's girlfriend; and Raquel Villavicencia as Donya Claudia, Victor's judgemental mother who will do everything ro tuin her son's relationship with Dolores.
Also joining them are Steph Yamut, a cheerful kid from the Cebu audition, who will be portraying the role of Tiffany and Jirvy Dela cruz, the actor who played Ding in the original series, will be protraying Kagawad Butch.
In the series, Eliza, Ding, Jocelyn, Tomtom will prove how the power of togetherness and true friendship can keep them positive amidst life's challenges.
Making the viewers' afternoon viewing even more memorable is Yagit's theme song. "Basta't kasma Ka' composed and performed by wordsmith Gloc-9 with Protege finalist LIrah Bermudez. Meanwhile, adding a dramatic touch is its emotional theme song. "Kaming Mga Yagit" which is performed by Chalui, Zymic, Judie, Jemwell, written by Florenz Sison and arranged by Simon Tan.
Under the creative direction of Jun Lana ((Creative Director for Drama), Roy Iglesias (Creative Head for Afternoon Prime, Denoy Navarro PUnio (Creative Consultant), Ken De Leon (Headwriter) and directed by Gina Alajar, Yagit will cetainly appeal to Filipino viewers from all ages.
