At the same time, the Afterlife guardians were also promised reincarnation by the ruler of the Afterlife, King Yeomra if they successfully defend 49 souls for reincarnation. Ja-Hong is their 48th client. Ja-Hong's journey to the 7 Trials of Sin is disrupted by his dead brother Su-Hong's Vengeful Spirit. Su-Hong died 2 weeks before his military discharge when a private accidentally shot him with a service weapon. Because of his unjust death, Su-Hong turns into a Vengeful Spirit and starts attacking the Afterlife. And as hidden facts surrounding his death are uncovered, Ja-Hong's innocence is questioned, risking his trial for reincarnation.
ALONG WITH THE GODS is directed by blockbuster and award-winning director Kim Yong-Hwa (200 Pounds Beauty, Take Off, Mr. Go), and is led by a superb all-star cast. Firefighter Ja-Hong is played by Cha Tae-Hyun, who is widely known by Filipino K-movie fans as the funny and charming guy in the 2001 movie My Sassy Girl. The youngest of the guardians, Deok-Choon is played by young actress Kim Hyang-Gi. She has a full and warm heart and is sympathetic towards her client, making her an ideal and a promising lawyer to defend souls for reincarnation.
Aside from the superb cast, ALONG WITH THE GODS will also take audiences to worlds you never thought existed. According to the laws of Afterlife, all deceased must go through 7 trials over 49 days, and these trials are divided into 7 sin categories: betrayal, violence, filial piety, murder, indolence, deceit and injustice. The country’s number one fast-food chain partnered with the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) to spread hope and joy last December through the "Magbahagi para sa mga Bata sa Marawi", a Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko special gift-giving program.

Star Cinema opens 2018 with a bang as it puts together two of the most celebrated actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry today - Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban - in the heartwarming and laugh-out-loud dramedy “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes”, which will be screened in key countries worldwide via TFC@theMovies from January to February.
“Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” marks the comeback of Santos and Panganiban on the big screen. This is Santos’s grand comeback to mainstream cinema after her last full-length movie Kusina, an official entry to the 12th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival in 2016.

“I was praying for a good project that will challenge me and surprise the viewers. I believe this project fulfilled that for me”, Santos says.

On the other hand, Panganiban also returns to the big screen fresh from her recent Best Actress victory in FAMAS 2017 for her superb performance in The Unmarried Wife.

The film is about the journey of two women – Lianne (Santos) and Cindy (Panganiban) – who pursue their erring husbands who both have the same surnames. Their seemingly happy marriages are put to the test when both wives discover that their husbands have an affair, leaving Lianne and Cindy in a series of misadventures in the hopes of foiling their husbands’ relationship.

Santos and Panganiban play two very strong female characters who are polar opposites, one being a successful career woman while the other is a homemaker. The only similarity between Lianne and Cindy is their driving desire to win back the love of their respective husbands.
Lianne and Cindy will take moviegoers of all ages to an emotional roller coaster ride as both women turn to humor and laughter amidst life’s most painful experiences.

Providing a peek into the minds of their characters, Panganiban shares what urged their characters to go after and get back to their husbands: “When we get hurt, a lot of things enter our mind, and we cannot deny that one of these is getting back to the people who hurt us”, Panganiban explains.

Who wouldn't love our dearly Mother, Mommy or Mama, I'm sure we do and we'll always love them so much. Even me now that I am also a mom, i really feel how my kids love me.

For me the movie Mama's Girl is very timely, it touches the issues that many millennials are facing now. Most Mother and Daughter relationship really matters now in our society. Daughters are more attach to their Mothers.
I love the story, the twist and the lesson. Truly it touches the heart and probably will give more than the lessons of the 5 traits that are tackeled in the movie, the Passion, Commitment, Acceptance, Forgiveness and Love. Those traits are what Millennials must have in order to pursue what they want in their future. Mothers are always there to guide their Daughters or Sons in the right path for their own good.

There are some scenes in the movie that really made me cry. Particularly the time her mother is dying and they are talking to each other. I remember my father, I missed him so much. It's been 8 months now that our father left us, it really breaks my heart.

The next scene was when the mother gave the box of recipes for her daughter. That particular scene is really relatable to me, because my eldest son asked me to list down all my recipes so that their Daddy would be able to cook for them as delicious as mine, hahaha, funny right? but still it really touches my heart.
Well, most of the daughters and sons that will watch this will definitely love it and they will love their Mommies very much. Actually after the movie, I missed my Mom, that's why I ask her to have a date with me over lunch at the mall and we did it.
The movie is very beautiful and I like how good Ms. Sylvia Sanchez in portraying her role. The character that she's playing suites her very much. I think she really is good whatever role may have been given to her. And she truly give justice to character. I hope more family oriented and relationship movie be produced by Regal Films.

Kudos to all actors, director, and casts of the movie. You did a great movie!
