MERALCO INTRODUCES THE NEW MoVE APP FOR BETTER BILL MANAGEMENT

8/22/2014 10:10:00 AM

Remember the last time that we have posted the story about the launch of Meralco’s MOVE? Well, it’s here again and they’ve launched it again to provide Meralco consumers a better experience in using the application and a better way of knowing their monthly electric bill.
The launched MeralcO Virtual Engine or MoVE application, available in iOS and Android, allows consumers to foretell their future monthly electric bill. Given with the list of appliances available in every household, MoVE app users can compute and their usage in a particular appliance.
The MoVE launching event was hosted by none other than the hilariously sexy comedienne Giselle Sanchez. It was truly a fun and exciting night not only for the bloggers but also for all who was there at the Lighthouse restaurant in Meralco. Aside from the comedic act of Ms Giselle Sanchez posing as Madame Giselle the Fortune Teller there were also a game ala-Wheel of Fortune but this is not just a game of guessing but a mind game and analyzing the situation or should I simply it’s a Math problem solving.

All were given a chance to play the game and every game each winner got the chance to take home a prize courtesy of course of Meralco. The game may sound simple but it is their way of letting the bloggers experience how the app works. Simple yet engaging.
So like I mentioned Meralco developed this app to make managing consumers’ electricity spending better. One of the key features allows users to compute their power consumption based on their appliances’ cost per hour and length of use per day and week.

Aside from the computing feature the app also give users electricity-saving tips, Meralco news updates, and more.

Here are the full features of the App:

1. Usage - tracks your electrical consumption in real time, by adding your appliances and switch them on and off in the app as you would use them at home.
2. Calculator - lets you forecast the electrical consumption when buying an appliance or simply know how much an appliance costs to operate.
3. Directory - easily find the Meralco branch or Bayad Center nearest you.
4. Information - notifications on power interruptions, scheduled maintenance or Meralco events.
5. Bright Ideas - helpful tips for your home on how to conserve electricity
6. E-Bill - delivers your Meralco bill online for convenience

In between of the program Madame Giselle Sanchez does her fortune telling by identifying electricity-wasting bad habits in each Zodiac sign and gives advice on how the MoVE app can help them. Watch the videos on Meralco’s YouTube channel.

The MoVE app is available for free, on both the App Store and Google Play. For details, visit meralco.com.ph.
