7 Years...

7th year in the life of my eldest son has arrive. We just celebrated his 7th birhtday last month, then I realized that i've been a mommy for 7 years, imagine that, as I look back it seems that I am still in the feeling of a teenager. Now, I am a mommy for 7 years!

Well, as a mommy of 2 kids, I am grateful that my sons came into my life, it means that I am a true woman, hahaha. It's a fulfillment as a wife, right mommies? It's hard to be a mom but worries fades away whenever you see your kids growing up.

Speaking of growing up, my eldest son Maki just celebrated his 7th birthday and sooner or later I will have a teenager. Oh, time flies so fast. But for now, i will enjoy being with them,  and since they are still kids, I will definitely have more bonding moment with them. As we all know, once these kids reach their teenage life they start to change and bonding time becomes lesser but I'm praying that it will not. I will let them feel that I am always here for them.

So what did we do on Maki's birthday? Well, our family spent the whole day together. My hubby and I took a leave from works just to give time for our son's birthday celebration. First that we did in the morning, since its Friday, was that we celebrated a mini party at his school with his classmates. Here is the video of his classmates singing happy birthday to him and the blowing of candles.

Maki loved it very much, he was the one who gave the food to his classmates with the help of his little brother, Gelo. I am happy that my kids are very fond of giving and sharing things to others.

Next stop of the celebration was with my blogger friends at Slammin Mini Burger in Trinoma, since our PR friend scheduled us to review the food at Slammin, we decided also to let our kids taste the good food there. They enjoyed it very much and after eating they have a pictorial showing that they are full already and they have powers again, hahaha.

Our third stop was a SPArty. It's not just a mother and sons SPA bonding but a family SPA bonding, me and the three boys. Well, it's my gift for my boys, since I love spa I let my little boys experience it too. At first they are hesistant to put their feet on the warm water but afterwards they enjoy it already. The birthday boy felt tickled once the staff rub and massage his feet up to the knee. According to Maki he liked all the process but not the foot scrubbing. He doesn't want the feeling of beads touching his skin, hahaha. While my youngest son is so makulit and he was shouting everytime he felt tickled on his feet. Oh I love seeing my boys enjoying my gift.
Last part of the birthday celebration was the dinner with our family. Their grandparents, titos and titas and cousins too. We spent our dinner at Jollibee whereas the kids love it very much.
Oh what a busy day for us to celebrate the 7th year of our eldest son as well as my 7 years as mommy. It's a truly blessing spending your day with your family, as I promise I will have time for bonding session with my boys.
So mommies, what about yours, how did you spend your bonding moment with your family?
