Oh well, that’s enough with hubby for now and I’ll share what we have experienced during the event of #HigantengLinis at the Higantes Festival in Angono, Rizal. This is our first time to be in Angono, Rizal, specifically Quezon Avenue and first time to see the fiesta of giants. It was almost high noon when we arrived at the place. The heat of the sun was tremendous, I remember that in washing of clothes sun is one of the elements that is needed to dry the clothes and to eliminate bad odors. There were huge palayok, giants mascots wearing the Ariel shirts and a long line of table with white cloths. It gives me a hint that there’s going to be a huge surprise for everyone and it did because few minutes later the hosts DJ Chacha and DJ Papi Charlie made a countdown to let the food fest begin. Remember the giant palayok? From there came out different dishes like the humba, sisig, and adobo plus of course our staple food, the rice. All who came inside the venue were given stabs with a specific station number where they can get their food. Numbering of a thousand was given a chance to have a feast, from children to adults, mommies and daddies, lolo and lola.
The mommy in me came out when I saw kids spilling sauces on the white table cloths and worse when I saw some kids already sitting on top of the table. I was very much worried since the table cloth is really clean and perhaps new. This is going to be tough dirt and stain to remove, Ariel will definitely get a hard time proving their one wash power. Since Ariel is very generous in having a feast for everybody I guess they’re generous as well to let everyone knows how the power of one wash works. They piled all the table cloths making a mountain of laundry to wash. Well we are in Higantes Festival so everything should be gigantic.
First, they paraded the dirty table cloths in front of hundreds of people showing the stains and dirt it get from the recently concluded feast. I ask my hubby if he could wash that huge table cloth and instantly answered No! I told him that if you combined all our dirty clothes for one month I think it will be like that. Imagine that I’m doing the laundry that much every month. Whew! To my surprise, he hugged me and thanked me for that. I was getting a kilig moment that time! This lecture date is getting more romantic for us! Hahaha! It’s really hard to wash clothes and to think I’m the only girl in the family.
The parade of dirty table cloth was followed by the washing which in just a few minutes of all is done and the next parade that I’ve seen was the all white and fragrant table cloth. Imagine that! To make it more legit they let the stain inspectors check the cleaned cloths to see if they stain are all gone. It is white as ever and it did not even damage the texture of the cloths. So that’s how they ended the program by proving the power of Ariel.

Hmp this gives me more reason to use it more often. But first I need to find the price of Ariel if it fits our budget. It’s hard to budget things in the house just like the stains from my kids’ clothes. So after the event I simply made a detour to the supermarket and checked the price. I found out that a pack of Ariel is just right in our budget. Higher or lower the price to think that it is Ariel you’ll definitely get #HigantengLinis.
