V. Group Inaugurates Manila Office

V.Group the world leading independent maritime services provider, has celebrated the inauguration of its new office and training facility in Aseana 2 in Paranaque City.
The momentous event was attended by top V. Group executives, industry partners and the media who were all excited to see what this new office has to offer. Equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities, like a simulator for aspiring crew members and officers, V. Group continues to find better ways to produce the best maritime officers and staff for the international market.
Specializing in the outsourced technical management of high value maritime assets and the provision of a wide-range of specialised technical, workforce and commercial services, V. Group proudly serves commercial shipping, cruise, energy and defence sectors.
The recently opened new office occupies 6,700sq meters over five floors of the impressiveAseana 2 building in Aseana City, Paranaque, and employs 270 full time management and admin staff. It has become the single biggest investment by the V.Group in its history and is intended to become a centre of excellence for the Group. Hence, the launch, hosted by no less than socialite Tess Prieto-Valdes was filled with much optimism from everyone who were all happy to see the company's expansion in the Philippines.
The opening of the new office is testament to the importance of the Philippines as a principal recruitment ground for professional crew in the world. V.Group Representative Philippines, Jamie Stewart shares, “These new state of the art offices will increase our capacity to manage and train seafarers with a wide range of skills. We are now able to offer a service facility which is second to none and includes recruitment, technical training, culinary training, operations, commercial, purchasing, technical support, and IT which positions the Group at the heart of not only Asia, but the global shipping community.
