If you love reading books while enjoying a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate, Book and Borders Cafe is the better place, specially when you need a break from the busy day in your office. Book and Borders Cafe is set to become one of the metro's more popular hangouts.
The Cafe is truly cozy and inviting, books and good food will surely make you stay for long period of time. There are times that you need to spend quiet time and have a peaceful mind, that instance, Book and Borders will give you a moment of relaxation and quietness. There are variety of books that you can choose from, it means that they encourage Young Adults, Kids and even Married Person to try the coziness and the delicious food they offer.
Located at 281 Tomas Morato, Quezon City, Book and Borders, unlike other crowded cafes where people are more engaged in chit chat, has purposely turned their space into something that is more relaxed and quiet. This is because the cafe encourages customers to go through their extensive selection of books, and take their time to hangout or read. In fact, the cafe also makes book stands available for its customers, to make reading their chosen book, much easier.
Last July 28 was the Grand Opening of Book and Borders and presents during the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting were celebrity stars Karylle and Benjamin Alves together with Ms. Mary Simisim And Ms. Nancy Go who were also proprietors of Chef Noodles Philippines.
The cafe's brand ambassadors, Karylle and Benjamin Alves are both book lovers and represents what the cafe wants to promote very well; which is to encourage the habit of reading as well as indulging in one's love for coffee. The two self-confessed book lovers were present at the cafe's grand opening, wherein guests were treated to the cafe's bestsellers and were given the chance to enjoy the selection of books that are available.

Complementing the nice ambiance and the library aspect of the Cafe are delicious light fare and refreshing drinks.

Here are the foods that we tried during the grand opening of Book and Borders Cafe

I'm not a coffee lover, but I like a nice and hot Chocolate drink. Book and Borders Cafe's very own hot chocolate is the best for me, it gives something new to my taste bud, it is really different from my usual hot choco. I think I can finish 2 to 3 cups of hot choco in one sitting in this cafe. With Regards to Pasta, Fried Tuyo with Kesong Puti Pasta is really a superb one, that day my craving in Fried Tuyo was satisfied by Book and Borders dish, it is really delicious I will let my friends like the Kita Kits Gurls try this when we set a get together.

Of course first is my hubby, Book and Borders Cafe is the place that my hubby and I will spend a date. My hubby loves books and he is a coffee and a pasta lover, it is the place that we can spend "we-time".
Aside from delicious muffins, breads, cupcakes, pies, tarts, squares, doughnuts, and cakes (Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake), Book and Borders also serves more filling menu options like pasta (truffle mushroom pasts, tuyo pasta) sandwiches (beef pastrami panini), even salas and breakfast options. For drinks, there's coffee of course, in a variety of options, as well as refreshing smoothies for hot days.
Carrying the tagline, Read, Sip, Dine. Book and Borders is definitely a must-try not just for book lovers and coffee lovers but anyone who is looking for a nice place to hang out in the busy metro.
