The whole gang attended the Vita Cubes 2 Good Fun Day. My hubby and I see to it that our kids have time to mingle with the other kids aside in school. And indeed it was a fun day for us at Vita Cubes event. They got so many activities lined up for their guests.

Vita Cubes is new to me and as a matter of fact I am so curious about it. I am a Mom who always give vitamins to my kids to protect them from harmful diseases, that's a mommy right? Giving candies is a no no to me, since they are prone in having problem with their throats. The candies are ban in our house (most of the time) then I realized that how can they enjoy their childhood life if they cannot taste sweets. Then, often times I let them have candies, specially when we attended some birthday parties and events that most of the time candies are the giveaways.

During the event, my kids enjoyed the Vita Cubes, actually me too, I tasted it and it is so yummy.  Aside from being yummy it is also healthy because it contains vitamins A, B, C, E, Lysine and Zinc. A yummy and healthy sweets, not bad to let my kids enjoy it.

So much activities during the event, Kuya Maki, my eldest enjoyed the playground at the Active Fun while Gelo, my youngest, joined the games, eat lots of vita cubes, and designed his cake.

Business is business! There are so many ways to promote your company and there are so many ways to inform the public about your great products.
One of the bakeshop in the country today made an interesting way of introducing their products and letting the bakeshop be known or make a mark as Quim's Cake Bakeshop and Cafe with its Chef and co-owner Chef Jack Labang posted on social media that they'll be giving away cakes worth Php5 Million if Rodrigo Duterte wins the presidency.
True to their word I was invited to visit their bakeshop and witness the first claimant of their so called Php5 Million cakes giveaway. Of course my visit isn't complete without having a taste of what they'll be giving away and I could say that Pinoys with sweet tooth will enjoy these treats. One of their meal offerings that got my interest was their Sashimi Mango Sinigang. I love sinigang and I always serve it to my family but this time I tasted a different kind of sinigang. It's very unique from the usual sinigang that I know. I will let my hubby taste it also soon, maybe we can spend our date at Quim's cake next time.
The next dish that has a surprisingly interesting taste is their Roast Belly with Choco Bagoong sauce. Just by name it looks interesting. According to them they roasted the belly for almost 3 hours and gave a twist with their sauce which is the Bagoong with chocolate flavour.
The establishment have 2 floors which is great as they cater their growing number of customers, it is really a homey ambiance located at the heart of Quezon City, Tomas Morato. They also offer catering services.

Here's the very first claimant of the free cake of Quim's Cake Bakeshop & Cafe.
Chef Labang shared the advantages and disadvantages of the marketing strategy they used to be known. First is they became famous and people got curious about the P5 Million cakes. According to him its overwhelming that their official facebook page got thousands of likes and they got a growing number of customers. The disadvantage was that there were lots of bashing online, of which I've read it personally. There are some saying that they are not true to their promise, but here we are featuring Quim's cake and their very first claimant. It was a lesson learned from Chef Labang but still Quim's is very true with their promise they'll be giving away P5 Million worth of cakes that started last July 1.
According to Sir Anthony, one of the owners of Quim's Cake, they are planning for expansion very soon and they're also open for franchise.

In order to organize the distribution of the cakes, Chef Labang did a schedule of distribution. The cakes will be given away every 1st and 15th of every month to the first 50 customers who will register via email at quimscake@yahoo.com until they reach the P5 Million target.

While we were on their store last July 1, there were few slices of cake went unclaimed. Labang did was shared it to some of the street kids. He also shared that they are doing charity works as well like giving cakes in the neighborhood and other institutions.

People loves to celebrate and Filipinos in particular are one. We Filipinos are very fond of celebrating momentous event in our lives. A memory that we want to cherish with our family or love ones. We, Filipinos are also known for being food lovers. There are Fiestas, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation days and so on and so forth. Name it and we got the celebration. Some of the simplest and thoughtful gesture in this celebration is having cakes. Yes, celebrations wouldn't be a celebration without the cake.

When it comes to cakes, the first thing that pops into my mind is Red Ribbon and talking about Red Ribbon, it talks about sweets. An overload of sweetness, not just literally sweet foods but sweet thoughts inside our heart or the sweet gesture of love.

As a mommy of 2 kids, sweetness comes with me all the time and most particularly with my kids. This is how I show my love to them anytime and anywhere and I could say that it is the key for a better relationship with my kids since they are still young. My sweetness is not just for my kids but for my parents and my siblings as well.
Last year we celebrated the birthday of my parents. First was my father last April 2014 were we celebrated the day in one of the restaurant. All of us, sons and daughters, are present together with his granddaughter and grandson. It was a blast and of course, my father was so delighted seeing the cake though he is allowed just a little. The flavour of the cake was The Tripple Chocolate. Imagine that flavour, I'm not the only one who loves it but our Family as well.

I remember everytime that we'll be spending dinner in our old house (My Parents house) that cake is our dessert. We love the smoothness and the chocolatey flavour of that cake, specially the toppings, hahaha that’s the first thing that we eat before we sliced it, that’s the funny thing that my sibling did it and when our kids saw it, they did it also.
December 2014 came and it was my mother's turn to celebrate her birthday. Again cake is present and as always it is Red Ribbon with dedication. We are so thankful to our Mom, she is the best, she dedicated her life for our family.
Aside from my parents birthday celebration, last year was also the 7th birthday celebration of my eldest son, we celebrated his birthday in his school together with his classmates. All the kids were so excited to see and taste the cake from Red Ribbon.
Of course our youngest son, Gelo, got a taste of Red Ribbon Cake celebration, it was year 2011 when I gave birth to my youngest son in C-section due to early labor. Thankfully my baby was okay even though he was only more than 7 months inside my womb. Since then, we celebrated his monthly date of birth through a mini celebration. On his 2 months, we bought a roll of cake with dedication from Red Ribbon. Look his so tiny back then, while on his 8th month we bought again a Tripple Chocolate cake, our most favourite cake.
