Last week I got an invite for the press conference of Mariel Rodriguez.  I am so excited to attend this event because I'm a big fan of Mariel Rodriguez back then when she was still in ABS CBN.  The only thing that bothers me is that what's the press conference is all about since it is not disclosed pretty well.  I think it is a surprise!


When we got there it was really a surprise because it was something new because Mariel Rodriguez will be hosting another upcoming web TV show on pinoyRealTV.  It is an online TV show that will be air on the internet at www.ustream.tv/channel/pinoyrealtv.  The show is entitled LOL or "Love on-line".   The show is simply want to inspire people that love exists and according to Mariel, "In this modern world of exclusive dating and living in, I suggest taking the plunge when you know it's love.  That's what I did and everyday I'm living that life.  This is my new life - being the wife of an action superstar, the wife of a Muslim.  My new web show is about our differences, our similarities, our everyday life, and our journey together.  The show reflects the world as I see it.  And my world is Robin Padilla."


Mariel came from a reality TV show that give her an edge in hosting but this time it's a different kind of hosting because she'll be featuring their life and she'll showcasing a better insight about their love life.  More of showing why they are so in love with each other.

Last week, it was a great Monday and a wonderful opportunity to meet the Prince of Teleserye Theme song, none other than Bryan Termulo. 


So, who's Bryan Termulo?  Well here are some information about him during the Bloggers' Conference and why he was coined as the Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs.

Bryan Termulo or Bryan Bryll Termulo was born in the land of the known poetic people, Bulacan on the 8th day of March 1988.  He was considered as simple and yet promising.  Perhaps that's reason why he is in the entertainment industry now. 

Recording Artist at present and an actor.  His debut album was released under BWB Records and Music Production Inc. and thanks to Bihag and Paano Nangyari in which both songs were played in the TV Series 100 Days To Heaven.   Presently, he is now popularly known as The Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs of ABS-CBN.

Youngest artist to hit the industry.  His one of the regular mainstay of ASAP 2012 and a part of Boys Are Boys together with JM de Guzman, Marrki Stroem and Alex Castro.  He has also been very busy with several TV appearances and magazine interviews, as well as album tours and promotions.  Also he has invaded acting on television some of his acting appearances were in GMA soap All My Life, then he transferred to Kapamilya Network and did some episodes for Wansapanataym, portrayed as Ryan in Budoy, and this year he is set to join The Queen of Teleserye, July Ann Santos-Agoncillo in the upcoming drama series Against All Odds. 

Awards and recognition comes to this young artist since the first time he joined Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3 in GMA 7.  Then in 2010, he competed for the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) and won two silver medals in rock and original works and one bronze in R&B.   He was also cited by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Music in 2012 as one of the nominees for "New Male Recording Artist of the Year."  And the one considered as the icing on the cake was his winning of the 2011 Awit Awards' Best Album Packaging.

For his latest album, the title track Hanggang Ngayon was nominated at Tambayan OPM Music Awards 2012.

his Sophomore Album entitled "Hanggang Ngayon" which was officially launched in ASAP 2012 under BWB Records and distributed by Star Records together with the release of the music video "Hangang Ngayon" with Binibining Pilipinas 2012 Finalist MJ Lastimosa as his leading lady.  President Raul Leynes of BWB Records is positive that this new album will surpass the success of Bryan's debut album, Begin.

As TERMULO raves in success in the industry, several laurels of recognition still comes to flock in his way like the nomination of the title track of his new album Hanggang Ngayon was nominated at Tambayan OPM Music Awards 2012, placing Hanggang Ngayon his album which placed on the 7th spot in Astroplus/Astrovisions OPM Bestselling album Chart from June 25-July 1, 2012, and this year Bryan signed an endorsement with Cetaphil, the #1 recommended brand of cleansers & moisturizers.

The new “communicating” tires provide a breakthrough solution to improving road safety. Combining the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and RFID chips installed in the tire, the device helps check the tire pressure and conditions and link to a data processing system. After seven years of thorough testing and research plus thousands of manufactured chips that validate test phases, the technology was introduced to 85% of London’s city buses in time for the 30th Olympic Games.

The small RFID chips require no batteries and instead are activated by the radio waves it receives during scanning. The users may input their own data and update them as well. It can last longer than the tire itself, shave time in vehicle maintenance and provide cost-efficient vehicle operations.


With Michelin’s “communicating” tires, the transit operators only need to use an electronic reader that automatically gathers information about the tire’s condition and history. Now, instead of physical check-ups that may be dangerous to the operators, a more reliable system of monitoring tire conditions guarantee that the passenger vehicle tires will last longer, be more accurately traceable, reduce fuel consumption and avoid the need for frequent and costly replacements.

A few days ago I get a chance to watch an unusual love story.  It's not a typical romance movie where you can find cute love story of a couple but a love story that is unique because of its lightness.  No heavy drama and not too much comedy.  It just got the right amount of emotional mixes.

The movie is entitled "Just One Summer" where things happened during that particular summer in a typical Pinoy country side setting.   A place where farming is the source of income.  "Just One Summer" not just tells the story of romantic love but also about family.  The different family relations. 

Though the story is just light, the main characters portrayed by Elmo Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose came out just perfectly nice.   The story was an open-end where you can continuously think of different endings.

The movie was produced by GMA Films under the direction of Mac Alejandre, “Just One Summer". 

At last after a few weeks of non-stop raining and flooding, thank God the sun came out. Great weather and great time to have an outing with the kids but the recent event had made most of the places saturated with flood water that may not be conducive for kids to play around with. So I think it is much better to have it done right in our backyard or near the house. Since we do have a little open area where kids could play around it would a good idea and besides all it takes is an awning to be placed.

There are different types of awnings that can be use and place almost anywhere. This is keep everyone safe and of course dry till the next summer or autumn. There's one design of awning is great for places that shifts their mood when needed, the retractable awnings is one of the adaptable designs nice for places that needs sunlight or rain not too often. Of course lawns need to be taken care properly for them to bloom in their best color.

Like I have mention we do have a small backyard that is suitable for playing and small gatherings. This just needs a retractable awning to make it conducive enough. I'm lots of parties and gathering would be done here. So I'll be ready for that!

I was glad that this great event falls on a Sunday I was able to bring along my family and let them roam around and learn as well.  I'm pretty much sure my husband learned from it even though he was walking around with the little ones.

Barkada or group of friends is important to me!  They are the pals that you can depend and shared some of your thoughts.  Until now I still have Barkadas who I can still be with them and see or hang out with just to talk about our lives.  Particular barkadas that I have are my friends during High School, my neighbors, my church mate, my co-scholar and my bff who are my kita kits friends.  If you're following my posts you'll eventually know why kita kits.  But for the benefit of the new readers kita kits because they are my friends that we only meet rarely and we make sure to have a good day when we meet.

Ok, that's enough! Talking about them makes me feel lonely already.

You know I'd been talking about barkadas well, I had attended this bloggers conference of "The Reunion" which is a movie about barkadas or friends.  Present during the said conference was Bangs Garcia, Kean Cipriano and of course Frasco Mortiz, the director of the movie.  During the conference most of them are really at is with each other because according to them they have already develop the friendship.  Bloggers questions were answered pretty well and since as much of the questions were pertaining to friendships. 

The funny part that was shared  by the writer during the conference the characters were his true friends in real life, take note in real life.   Of course according to the writer his friends reacted  on this and of course they were happy to see their lives portrayed in big screen.

According to Bangs and Kean, they gained friendship among the cast.

As a mommy, I know how it feels to have a gifted or talented kid.  It really makes the whole life happy and very great.

Last Wednesday, I attended the launching of Cha Cha Canete's first album entitled Bulilit Rockstar.  Cha Cha is a talkative and full of energy kid and it does shows also when she performed.  As we all know, Cha cha is one of Goin' Bulilit kids who is so cute and brings a good line in comedy.

According to her uncle, Cha Cha was discovered because of her noisy voice in one of the cafe in abs cbn. She was turning 4 when she started at Goin' Bulilit and then she became one of the cast in a show "5 and 1/2."  Until she made the commercial of Camelia Homes and that's the time that she was known as "Bulilit".


And now the "Bulilit" herself, launched her first album entitled "Bulilit Rockstar".
 The album consists of nine original tracks plus 10 bonus tracks.  Even before its official launch, it has received positive responses due to its high number of sales in Astroplus and Astrovision in the past four weeks, I think she is included on the list of top 10 for OPM.

Aside from her regular appearance on Goin' Bulilit, Cha Cha also hosts the travel show, "Biyaheng Bulilit" on Studion 23 with Yachang and Tatay Nishii.

Her humor and innate charm was first notice in this real estate TV commercial that caught everyone's attention.
