Here is another GMA Network teleserye for all the Kapuso out there, particularly to all the fans of Andrea Torres and Mikael Daez. This their comeback project entitled "Ang Lihim ni Annasandra" which started their airing last October 6.

Who believes in "Aswang"? Perhaps as most of you my dear reader would definitely say yes but for me, I guess I don't believe in it. For a simple reason that I don't want to see one because I'm scared of how they are pictured out. Basically, I don't believe because I haven't seen one and I don't want to see one. 

So I got an opportunity to ask the 2 main character in the teleserye, Andrea Torres and Rochelle Pangilinan and the Director of "Ang Lihim ni Annasandra" Direk Albert Langitan if they believe in "Aswang". And their response was "Yes, I do believe". They all believe in Aswang that's why they don't have any restrains in doing the Teleserye and good part is that they portrayed it very well and make the audience believe.

Ang Lihim ni Annasandra is a drama series mixed with romance and fantasy. It is about Annasandra, played by Andrea Torres who is a hard working vendor providing the needs of her parents played by Emilio Garcia and Glydel Mercado.

Two men will be part of Annasandra's life in this story, William Benitez, played by Mikael Daez, who works as Marketing Department Head of their family's business which is a Surgicenter and the other one is Enrico played by Pancho Magno. Both of these men long for Annasandra's love.

Esmeralda played by Rochelle Pangilinan is another character in the story to watch out for. She is a mysterious mountain-dweller who made a curse to Annasandra to become an awok. Esmeralda herself is an awok. When Annasandra’s father Carlos shot and killed Elena, her daughter; Esmeralda cursed the human Annasandra to be an awok. 

There are different term of Aswang here in the Philippines, but on this particular teleserye they use "Awok". Like most of the description of Aswang, Awok is appears human on daytime but transforms at night time into different kinds of animals. Awok turns into a wild boar here in Ang Lihim ni Annasandra.

Andrea Torres is very thankful that GMA Network trusted her to portray a major role in her first ever Fantaserye. GMA Network has been known on its Fantaseryes like the Encantadia which I enjoyed watching.

In line with the preparation of Andrea Torres, she make sure that she will do her best to give justice on her role, transformation from a wild boar to a human. She does show off some skin here so she spends more time at the gym to have her body perfectly fit in her role.

I was hooked with the acting of Rochelle Pangilinan during our blogcon because they let us watch the first week of the teleserye. As far as i know Rochelle is the queen of the dance floor, I like the way she dance, but here in the teleserye she proves that she acts well and according to her, she took some workshops as her preparation for this teleserye and she did it, she proved that she is a versatile actress and she is really different here. So to those who loves Rochelle better watch this teleserye.

Direk albert shared that he experience no hardship in directing the teleserye because he knows how professional they are, whatever he asked to all the cast they will does it.

So mommies you can let your kids watch this TV series but of course with your guidance, this will be a preparation for them for this upcoming Halloween. Watch Ang Lihim ni Annasandra weekdays 3:45 p.m. after Dading via GMA Afternoon Prime!
