I love cooking!!! We all know that Filipinos love to cook, most especially love to eat. As a wife and a mother, I should know how to cook. Gladly, that I came from a family knows how to cook. When I got married, I learned more on kitchen.
I am so delighted when I heard that Dole will launch their new Dole Tomato Sauce through a cook-off. I usually watched on TV some cooking show I jot down all the recipes and I tried to cook that to my family. I want something new in taste, that’s why I’m happy to attend the Great Dole Cook-off.


They held the event at the Magsaysay Institute for Hospitality and Culinary Arts or coined as MIHCA. They were really hospitable and even explained the food to be served and were asked if I like the food or not.


It was really fun watching some attendees cook their own version of Cherry Tomato and Eggplant Ragu Penne. They were given I think 10 minutes to cook it. After a few serious moment of cooking the food, they presented it with a touch of confidence and love on their finale recipe. It was judging time and all of us were waiting for the announcement of the best delicious food. Imagine! It was a guy who won on that mini cooking contest! Well, I think most of the guy now loves to cook.


I am longing to have more food event, so that there will be new recipes from the new product to give something different when I am going to serve a food in our table.
