Many says do not skip breakfast, it's true because it will ruin your day and you'll be moody to do your work for the whole day.  Personally, I've experienced it and it made some of my days a lot harder.

So this time I think it won't be a problem already as Ihop is here already and they introduces their new line of Filipino Breakfast Dishes which will be starting on March 17 in their stores.  Before anything else I would like to congratulate IHOP as they celebrate their 1st year Anniversary.

A year after opening its first Philippine location, IHOP Restaurant in the country presents a very special menu of five home grown Filipino favourites, which will be available throughout the day at all three of its metro locations.

The new Filipino menu offerings are the following:

Savory Pork Longganisa

Classic Chicken or Pork Tocino

Breakfast Beef Tapa

Lean Chicken Sausage

All these dishes are served with garlic rice and two eggs in any style with atchara and seasoned vinegar on the side. Each can also be ordered with a choice of IHOP Restaurant's world famous Buttermilk Pancakes, Stuffed French Toast or Brioche French Toast.




Surprisingly it's really big!  But don't get confuse because basically IHOP is an american resto, they will serve Filipino Breakfast Dishes with a touch of american style. They will serve it Big! To satisfy our appetite! I love their Lean Chicken Sausage and I'm pretty sure my kids will definitely like this.  I will let them taste it soon!  They love sausages very much. Next is their Tocino, the sweetness and the tenderness is there, Love it!

Their omelette and their sunny side up eggs wowed me very much.  Since we love eggs very much it spilled out my curiosity why their eggs are much bigger than the usual egg that we have for breakfast and to my surprises according to them they are using an american size eggs.

With summer coming its way, IHOP will also launch four new ice cream parfait flavours co-created with Nestle Ice Cream. The new flavours are the following:

Mango Peaches and Cream Parfait, a blend of Mango and Cheesecake Ice Cream

Mixed Berry Parfait, chocolate ice cream smothered with cool strawberry and blueberry toppings, drizzled with creamy yogurt and finished with oatmeal streusels on top

 

Childhood Memories, vanilla ice cram layered with strawberry and blueberry syrups and topped with crispy golden hash brown and cheesecake bits

Chocolate Decadence, featuring IHOP's very own Butter Pecan Syrup, dark chocolate and white chocolate chips and maple candied bacon all perfectly topped on scoops of decadent chocolate ice cream

Well among the four, I love the Chocolate Decadence, the taste is heavenly, yes, I love chocolate very much. These dessert offerings will definitely give you a different taste that will entice you over and over again.   It is really different I guess it's because of their IHOP Butter Pecan Syrup.
