My Juan Stop Inasal Experience

Foods has been my topic for the month of March, well as a mommy, I need to explore more dishes for my family.  They don't have to settle for the same old dishes, so once I explored it, they enjoy it.

Here is another adventure and a bit of food trip that we had recently.  This one will definitely entice your taste buds to try local foods that we Filipinos are proud of.
Last week we went to Juan Stop Inasal which is located just around the metro, specifically this place is located along N. Domingo St. just before Balete Drive.  The restaurant was introduce by Ian, one of the bloggers, and later on introduced to us, bloggers, the owner of the said restaurant.

Juan Stop Inasal is made out of curiosity to share authentic flavor of Chicken Inasal.  Rooting from Iloilo, who knows exactly the flavor of inasal, Stephen Christian Po and his brother, Emil Po together with their aunt, Lourdes Po conceptualize the said restaurant.  The whole process and concept last for a year which later on materialized as Juan Stop Inasal with a tag line "Mapapa-stap  Ka Sa Sarap!".   It was just a grill station at first but because of the comments and suggestions of patrons they were convinced to create it into a dining place.   Then history goes on.

Here are what they are offering...
Their very own Chicken Inasal, they are very much sure of the taste because they themselves as Ilonggo who've tasted it made sure that the taste is what they imagined it is.   What's great with this restaurant is that they own a poultry and make sure that the chickens are fresh for Juan stop Inasal.  Their serving of Chicken Inasal comes with the Unli Rice and Unli Ice Tea.  A great value meal!  The taste is really different than the usual Inasal in the metro.  According to the owner, Stephen Po, they make sure that the taste of the Chicken Inasal is the right taste.  Before the Inasal the Batchoy was served to keep us warm and in tone for the next meal to come.
Next is their KBL (Kadyos, Baboy at Lanka) this is one of the Ilonggo Dishes that is rarely serve on restaurants.  I usually heard the word kadyos in our house as my mother-in-law would always tell it to my husband that she have harvested some.
I'm not into veggies but I tried to taste their KBL for the sake of knowing its taste.  Fair enough that it is good but still I only choose the veggies that I eat.
Another is their Sizzling Pork Sisig, this is the blockbuster aside from their Chicken Inasal.   I really love their Sisig very much, their is a touch of sweetness if you taste it and it minimize the effect of the oily taste, but overall it's perfect to me, we even ordered another round of Sisig, hahaha, see even my other blogger friends like it too.
Their Grilled Liempo and their Pork Barbecue have similarity in taste, but the sweet taste is more noticeable on the Pork Barbeque.  I think my kids will definitely like it.

Both Stephen and Charlene are hands on with their business, they personally do the marinating of the products and it seems that both of them love what they are doing.

I will bring my family very soon at Juan Stop Inasal to spend our bonding moments.
