Da Possessed, Bb Joyce and Vhong's Reunion

Moms will definitely like to have a movie time with their family as certified blockbuster director Bb. Joyce Bernal reunites with Vhong Navarro after seven long years in Star Cinema's Da Possessed. This will be the biggest comedy movie for the entire family to enjoy this summer.
The movie Da Possessed is Bb. Joyce Bernal's collaboration with Vhong after seven long years, the first was in 2003's smash hit Mr. Suave and it was followed by two more successful films that completed the Vhong Navarro Movie Franchise namely D' Anothers in 2005 and Agent X44 in 2007. Some of Bernal's record breaking movies are Segunda Mano which was Star Cinema's official entry to the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival and the most recently Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?.
A week ago, this movie enthusiast mom attended a blog conference of the film D Possessed which starred by Vhong Navarro and directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal. During the blog conference lots of things were disclosed by the characters, not only the led stars but also the comedians who are pillars of the comedy movie industry. From the veterans down to the newbie comedians.
Direk Joyce shared that she has a different kind of humor aside from her versatile, crazy roller coaster method of storytelling. She even disclosed that she's a fan of the great trio comedians and the slapstick type of comedy.
The movie is written by Athena Aringo-Tengco, Ays De Guzman and Antoinette Jadaone, Da Possessed is a joint project between Star Cinema and Regal Films. The movie revolves around the peculiar story of simpleton Ramon who attempts to venture into landscape art. Ramon falls for his sexy boss but conflict begins when spirits from another world start to posses his body thus igniting a series of whacky and riotous events.
The movie Da Possessed also marks the very first film of It girl Solenn Heussaff under Star Cinema. “ Solenn has great comedic timing and she has great rapport with Vhong and the entire cast,” says Bernal. “It's very refreshing to see her in hilarious scenes with Vhong. She was able to hold her own in this movie which assembles some of the country's finest comedians.”
Da Possessed is part of Star Cinema's on-going 20th anniversary celebration and it also stars John Lapus, Smokey Manaloto, Empoy, Beverly Salviejo, Lito Pimentel, Joy Viado, Aaliyah Belmoro, Matet De Leon, and Joey Marquez.
Da Possessed will hit cinemas nationwide starting April 19.
