It’s in Quezon City Now, the RisingStars Philippines Audition

This mom got a chance to know things about the RisingStars Philippines in a short event held at the TriNoma Mall yesterday. It was a brief introduction of what RisingStars Philippines intends to achieve and of course their auditions schedules. As of that moment Mico Aytona was roaming around near the RisingStars Recording Booth on the 4th Floor of TriNoma Mall to encourage brave amateur singers to audition.

RisingStars Philippines is the country’s newest, grandest and biggest talent competition of this era. They are going all around the Philippines to reach out to the farthest region of the country in search for new RisingStars. This is a televised singing talent competition that will air nationwide on the TV5 Network during weekend on primetime. The show will be hosted by Ogie Alcasid and Venus Raj and will run from February 28 to May 3, 2015.

To select TV show contestants, RisingStars Philippines is on a series of Regional Contest that will be held in different provinces and cities to fine the best-of-the-best talents to represent their home city or province. Auditions are now on going and as of January 14 the audition is in Quezon City to look for new stars to shine!

The contest is open to interested participants 13 years old and above. The audition may be done in different ways and more convenient for the participant – record entries online using a laptop, PC, or android phones, or at the RisingStars Recording Booth or through barangay audition. RisingStars has made the audition process more easy and hassle free by avoiding long lines and hours of travel through the availability of the RisingStars Mobile Application for Android phones. Yes the mobile application of RisingStars is available and free from Google playstore. Another convenient way to join is by logging on to the RisingStars website at www.risingstars.ph to record and submit an entry through the use of desktop or laptop computers.

Voting Period: January 23-27, 2015
Live Screening & Semi-Finals: January 29, 2015
Davao Finals/Live Signing Competition’ February 1, 2015

All entries gathered from Manila will go through a series of screenings, eliminations and live auditions that will culminate to a semi-finals event. Top seven Semi-finalist from Manila shall go on a live singing battle on stage on February 1, 2015.

The top 2 winners from this stage of the competition shall get the chance to be seen on primetime TV during the live sing-offs and telecast of the RisingStars Contest to be aired starting February 2015 on Kapatid Network TV5.
