“Galema’ is an exciting TV series that will keep afternoon viewers awake.” This is another Teleserye that will entice viewers to watch more often during siesta time.

“Galema: Anak ni Zuma” is another special offering of ABS-CBN.  The story is one of the classic Pinoy Komiks hit and this time it will come to life during the afternoon for TV viewers as part of the grand celebration of 60 years of Philippine television and the continuing tradition of sharing well-loved komiks tales that widened the imagination and reflected the true Filipino culture.

Based on the longest-running Pinoy komiks series written by Jim Fernandez, “Galema: Anak ni Zuma” is an extraordinary tale about family and love.  It will revolve around the life of a good-hearted young lady named Galema (Andi) who was born with twin snakes attached to her neck, a curse that she inherited from her beastly father Zuma.

On this project, Andi Eigenmann will play the role of "Galema" and according to her, she is so excited with this teleserye and she is so blessed and honored that the project was given to her.  Portraying the said role is very challenging to Andi, she studied it very well because this is new for her and it was really a different kind of role.  "Andi is a good choice for the role as 'Galema', I chose her for this role because of her beauty and she is a very good actress", Direk Wenn V. Deramas said.

Joining Andi in “Galema: Anak ni Zuma” are Matteo Guidicelli, Meg Imperial, Sunshine Cruz, Sheryl Cruz, Carlos Morales, Divina Valencia, Lito Legaspi, and introducing Derick Hubalde as Zuma.
