Filipinos are really into celebrations, specially the important events in our life. Christening is one of the important event in our life and one of the task here is choosing the "Ninong or Ninang" that will stand as the second Father and Mother for the kids.   Aside from the important message that this kind of Celebration bring, there's always one thing that is always present, a sumptuous food.  This brings a very good bonding for everyone.

One of the most popular "Ninong" here in the Philippines is "Ninong Max" of Max's Restaurant.  Why his popular? Well, once you celebrate the Christening of your son/daughter at Max's Restaurant, she or he is automatically considered as inaanak of Ninong Max and he or she can brag "Ninong ko si Max's".

The tag line was introduced in 2011, "Ninong ko si Max's" campaigns pays tribute to the iconic member of the Filipino's extended Family - the Ninongs and Ninangs! Every year, until they reach the age of 7, inaanak's will receive Christmas and Birthday presents from their doting Ninong Max. With a minimum purchase of PhP200, for every store visit, they will also be privileged to receive yummy freebies like Max's Corner Bakery's oven fresh treats. On top of these, they will also get a 15% VIP discounts on their 1st and 7th  birthday celebrations at any Max's Restaurant in the country.

During the Fun Day, my kids really loved the activities in the event, it is very memorable to us and to my kids too, because this is the first time that we've watched the new "Superbook" and what's more great is that its free.  Since then they are already watching it in the television. My husband and I are really proud with our kids because they are enjoying the series and other tv shows that we introduce to them, specially they learn more Christian Values in Superbook.

Aside from the free showing of "Superbook" they also enjoyed the coloring activity. They really mingled on some of the Inaanak of "Ninong Max's".

"Max's Restaurant has celebrated the most important milestones in almost every Filipino family for nearly seven decades. In all these years of shall treasured memories together, Max's has played a very important role in strengthening family relationships from generation to generation.
