Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin, Now Showing!

First movie to showcase here at Mommys MAG Life is the book to film adaptation entitled "Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin" is a Best Selling Novel by Bob Ong. The movie is produced by Viva Films and directed by blockbuster directors like Andoy Ranay, Chris Martinez and Mark Meily. To those who have read the book, you may now watch it on the big screen and enjoy more visualization of the story.

Bala sa Bala, Kamao sa Kamao, Satsat sa Satsat, which satirizes the favorite elements of an action movie, is the first part which stars Benjie Paras, Candy Pangilinan, John Regala, Rez Cortez and more. As we all know that John Regala portrays as a bad guy in some of his movie, in this movie he is really a perfect example that portrays as a hoodlum. He gave justice on his role, he portrays it effectively. Both Candy Pangilinan and Benjie Paras are versatile actress and actor, they can be in drama and in comedy as well. They really portray it accordingly and shifting from drama to comedy is easy for them. I like both of them in comedy, I think it is innate on them to make people laugh.

Direk Chris handled the episode titled Asawa ni Marie, which is a parody of the Filipino soap opera. The set-up is already funny with a love quadrangle figuring among a poor farm girl played by Cristine Reyes, the two brothers who own the farm and the girlfriend of one of the brothers who figures as the eternal villainess.
Love the scene of Yagit who is a mascot dog, he is so funny. Speaking of funny scenes, most of the scenes of Joey Paras made me laugh, he is really a good comedian. Antoinette Taus is back in the big screen and I'm happy for her, I like her, back in Ang TV days, hopefully I will see her more on movie or teleserye. While Cristine Reyes is also a versatile actress, she can be in drama and in comedy, she really portrays well and give her best on what she is doing.

Direk Andoy Ranay spoofs the Filipino horror film in an episode titled Shake, Shaker, Shakest. After dealing with mostly young promising actors in his blockbusters, direk Andoy finds himself directing Maricel Soriano and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

Surprisingly, our very own Mayor Herbert Bautista is back in comedy together with Ms. Maricel Soriano, they really good at it, they are the real comedianne of all time, love their tandem. Shy Carlos is really a pretty one and have a future in showbiz, she really did her best on what she is does. I love her possess scene in the movie, she really a good job on that particular scene. She can fit also on drama and on comedy as well.
