Shy Carlos is 2016's “Tasya Fantasya”

Shy Carlos is the latest “Tasya Fantasya”!.

TV5 in partnership with Viva Entertainment held a Grand Conference of their newest TV series entitled “Tasya Fantasya” starring one of the most promising star of this generation, Shy Carlos, who is very talented on acting and singing.
Shy Carlos gave a perform first before the Press Conference started.

The 20-year old Swiss-Filipino Shy Carlos from the Viva Artists Agency gets the biggest break of her career as she plays the title role in the iconic “Tasya Fantasya” series, will premiere on TV5 next month.
Shy is very grateful to TV5 and Viva for giving her the opportunity to portray “Tasya Fantasya” which was played by Kris Aquino in 1994 and by Yasmie Kurdi in 2008. When asked how she will tackle the role, Shy simply quips “I haven't seen the movie and the GMA show. I hope to play the role in a different way.
Shy Carlos' leading man is a half Norwegian none other than Mark Neumann who also played Baker King and considered as TV5's Kilig Prince. According to Boss Vic Del Rosario, they will be the next love team so watch out for it.
Shy Carlos did around 20 commercials when she was a child, she is also a VJ via MTV Pinoy aside on this she is also a regular student at College of Saint Benilde taking up Consular & Diplomatic Affairs. She gives premium on her education.
“Tasya Fantasya” is a series original from the creative mind of Carlo J. Caparas, about an ugly but kind hearted yaya who dreams about her prince charming. Tasya later finds out that her faith is entagled with that of a magical tree that will lead her to a series of colorful adventures.

Viva's Veronique del Rosario-Corpus says, “The role of Tasya Fantasya” seems to be cut out for Shy. The character exudes what we see in her – kind, imaginative, youthful, wholesome and pleasant. We didn't have any doubts that Shy will be able to give justice to this project.”
Shy appeared in shows from the top three networks before clinching in a place in the all-female group Pop Girls along with Nadine Lustre. She also had a stint in the Star Cinema movie “Hopeless Romantic” where she realized that comedy is a genre that she is very comfortable with. Shy is also part of Viva Films “Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin” currently in theaters, where she co-stars with Maricel Soriano and Herbert Bautista in the episode, Shake, Shaker, Shakest.
“Tasya Fantasya” also stars Freddie Webb, Ara Mina, John Lapus, Candy Pangilinan, Giselle Sanchez, AJ Muhlach, Kim Molina, Jasmine Hollingworth, Malak So, Arvic Rivero, Donnalyn Bartlome and directed by actor-director Ricky Rivero.
