This is exactly what young actor Joshua Garcia does in the latest Jollibee TV commercial he stars in, along with his on-screen partner, Julia Barretto. The popular love team takes the thoughtful #SayItWithYum gesture to a new kilig-packed level as they exchange funny yet memorable lines with the new and improved Cheesy Yumburger.

Cheese truly is the way to Julia’s heart, who loves anything from a cheesy line from Joshua to creamy, melted cheese with her favorite langhap-sarap Yumburger.

“I was laughing talaga during the shoot because that line is really something Joshua would say and do,” the young actress shared. “The humor and thoughtfulness, because he knows that the Cheesy Yumburger is something that we both love, really make this kind of gesture nakakakilig and heart-warming for me.”

“Mas masarap at mas masaya talaga ‘pag cheesy,” quipped Joshua. “Especially if it’s melted cheese on my Cheesy Yumburger!”

The Cheesy Yumburger TVC is the love team’s second major project for the country’s biggest fast-food brand.

Jollibee,the Philippine's top fast-food chain, welcomes two young and dynamic teen stars to its growing family. The new TVC alludes to a classic 1980's ad produced by the fast food chain, which showed just how irresistible Jollibee's langhap-sarap appeal is, even to foreigners. Joshlia loves the Cheese Yum Burger, aside on that, Joshua loves also the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Yum and the Ultimate Burger Steak. Just like Joshua, Julia loves also the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom and the Spicy Chickenjoy.

My family loves to dine at Jollibee. If our kids are asked where they want to eat, they'll definitely going to say Jollibee. Joshua Garcia, on the other hand, is relatively a newcomer to Philippine Showbiz. He was first seen on a long running TV reality show, where his candid personality and relatable life story resonated among millions of viewers.
Like Julia, the 19 year old actor was emotional upon finding out that he was chosen as an endorser for one of the country's biggest, most-loved homegrown brands.

"I really prayed and waited for a project like this," Joshua shared. "I cried when my handler confirmed that my Yum Burger endorsement is a go".
The Batangas-born actor shared that he missed out on a Jollibee childhood. "I only experienced Jollibee when I started out in showbiz. It was  a very memorable experience when I finally walked in a Jollibee store and bought myself a meal that I paid for with my own money."

Rodriguez branches, we would always imagine that the carolers are singing to us.”

 

Marketing executive Jun Resterio shared that his daughter Charm was also enamored by the kiddie carolers. “As soon as we saw them, Charm instantly posed with the kids and asked her mom and me to take lots of photos. She said she wanted to sing with them,” he added.

For Jun, taking his girls—his wife Charmaine and daughter Charm—to Jollibee is something he always looks forward to, especially come Christmastime. “Before we go to church for Simbang Gabi, we would always have dinner first at Jollibee and enjoy our favorite Chickenjoy and the Christmas Creamy Shakes. We also see a lot of other families doing the same and it’s such a heartwarming sight to see,” he said. “There’s also something cheery about getting your favorites in festive packaging decked in Christmas colors—it instantly makes us feel the joy of the holiday season.”

 

For event organizer Michelle Robles, the Jollibee Christmas decorations bring back fond childhood memories. “I remember how much my sister Rachel and I looked forward to the holidays, because it meant that our parents would bring us to the mall to look for new clothes and shoes we would wear for the big day itself,” she said. “After shopping, we would then head to Jollibee to have our fill of our favorite Chickenjoy and Spaghetti, talking about our plans for the holiday vacation.”

 

Michelle added that she is keeping this Yuletide tradition alive, now that she has her own family. “My daughter Erin knows that if she behaves well and helps us shop for Christmas gifts, her dad and I would treat her to her favorite Chickenjoy and Choco Cookie Creamy Shake,” she shared.“Erin was also inspired by the Maaga ang Pasko boxes that she always sees at the stores, so she asked us to buy toys to donate as well.”
