Making dreams happen is what Leverage Works' main thrust and as a proof of their growing company they are celebrating their 2nd Year Anniversary dubbed as "2 the Top" which was held last February 1, 2014 at Teatrino, Promenade Greenhills, San Juan City.  And in which I am invited.

The bigger the celebration the merrier it is and it is truly bigger and merrier as member of the company from different part of the country joins the celebration.  Yes, there are members who came from Iloilo, Cebu, and more.  The main reason is to support the company with its achievement of celebrating their 2nd Anniversary as they move "2 The Top".  To get the ball rolling, Mr. Ricardo Bernardo, President of Leverage Works made a short and meaningful welcome remarks for everyone present at the event. 



Right after the welcoming the program went on wondrous performances from the members of the company itself.  It was truly one great night of entertainment that made me think I was watching a broadway show.  And they are really good knowing that they are not your typically practiced performers. 


Aside from  performances and awards were given to those deserving members who strive very hard to get their goals.  There were also raffles with very cool prizes.

Another highlight of the program was the inspiring talk made by Go Negosyo Host, Mr. Michael Angelo Lobrin about networking, success and of course making money.  According to him "NETWORKING IS NOT EASY, if anyone tells you that it is easy turn around and walk away."  Indeed it is not easy.   What everyone needs is "kapal ng mukha" (thick face), a big strong guts to face people and tell about your business.  One more interesting word from is HABITS.  We need to have good HABITS in order to be successful in life and that Habits will soon define us.

Another highlight of the night is the launching of Leverage Works' newest product which is the Greens & Mushrooms Coffee.  I'm not fond of coffee but if it is for the health then perhaps I will try, especially now that I have learned all about the ingredients put into that coffee. Varieties of green leaves and a different kinds of mushrooms that can help with our health.

Nothing beats Family Bonding, ever!  It is really one of the great time to enjoy being together.  Since our kids are fond of playing in an open area, we decided to have an outdoor activity which is just about 30 to 45 minutes away from our place and that's at Quezon City Memorial Circle. 



Before this bonding activity, I have learned something that we, parents should have in mind when making a promise to kids.  Never make a promise that you can't keep.  It will only break their heart and that's where the trust issue becomes a problem.



There was instance that happened before we did our Family Bonding.  It was an event I'm supposed to be invited and since the event is for kids I immediately told to my kids about the event and that they are coming with me to play.  I assure them that they're going to enjoy it very much.  Then the misfortune happened, I received an information that I wasn't included in the list of bloggers for the event.  Bad and it is really bad because I have already told it to the kids and they are expecting it.



So, it is very hard on my side to tell to the kids that event they were expecting won't happen.  At first they were really grumpy but with the help of my husband, we manage to talk it over with the kids and instead of that event we will just go to another place where they can play as well.  And that's what I'm sharing right now.



Oh well, so much with and let's change the topic anyway.  So, there we go got our feet on Quezon City Circle and let our kids play in the slides, walk around and run in the playground. There's so much happiness felt on that very moment, specially when the kids makes little glances at you and make a big smile back while they are playing. What a precious moment!

We usually celebrate our New Year every 1st of January. I am a little bit excited on how Manila Hotel celebrate Chinese New Year, so I was thankful then when they invited me to experience it.



Early morning we traveled to Manila Hotel.  They welcomed bloggers and other media present during the celebration with their mango shake, to quench the thirst, I really love the taste of it and it is really flavourful.   I was also surprised with the performance of the dragon and lion dance.  While they were dancing in the lobby, I took the chance to have a picture with it.

That was a nice and great experience and I claim personally that I am blessed through the ceremony. After the blessing, we were given a wish card, then wrote all my wishes, do you want to know it? Well, sorry its my secret, hahaha.


After I wrote my wishes I hung it in a peach tree and let my blogger friend Jing Javier capture that moment. That was an awesome feeling, I hope I will be blessed and received those wishes this year.



We spent our sumptuous lunch at Mabuhay Palace.

ABS-CBN formally launched its passenger safety mobile application PasaHero last Monday (Feb 3), gaining support from government agencies and other transportation mobile apps to push for passenger safety and security in the country.

“Through this app, we can really help the public instead of just reporting incidents. We can be there ahead and intercept any untoward incident,” said ABS-CBN chief digital officer Donald Lim.

The launch also marked the partnership of the app developers, ABS-CBN Digital Media Division and ABS-CBN News, and its cause partners, government agencies Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC), Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and Land Transportation Office (LTO), as well as its corporate partners, taxi booking app Grab Taxi and carpooling app Tripid.

Under the partnership, DOTC, LTFRB, and LTO will help in informing the public about the PasaHero app and educate stakeholders such as bus franchise owners and taxi operators about how the app can help in promoting passenger safety and security. It also requires PasaHero to help said government agencies in collecting relevant transport data via an additional feature that will soon be launched on the app.



“This is a good first step towards achieving better modes of transportation. Our priority is always safety, and our mandate is to ensure that passengers can travel safely without fear of criminality and accidents. It’s initiatives from the private sector like the PasaHero app that help us push forward in achieving our goals,” said DOTC spokesperson Atty. Michael Sagal.

LTRFB chairman Atty. Winston Ginez, meanwhile, stated, “Safety is our primary concern in all kinds of land transportation. In the near future, there will be features in this app which government agencies can use to be more involved and active.”

“We support this app not only because of all the incidents that are happening. In ordinary traffic violations, who would be better to police the streets than the people who are riding public utility vehicles? This app will greatly help us and we wish that this could be taken further as the LTO is also trying to develop its own application for citizens to report simple violations,” said LTO executive director Atty. Emilio Bantog Jr.

Corporate partners Grab Taxi and Tripid, meanwhile, will help in PasaHero’s information and education campaigns.

PasaHero, developed by ABS-CBN’s Digital Media Division and powered by ABS-CBNnews.com, was launched in November 2013 and has since acquired 25,000 downloads on iOs and Android devices.

PasaHero allows its users to record, plot, and broadcast details of their trip via social media and SMS and notify family and friends of any danger encountered on the road.

When users feel threatened, they can press the app's “Panic” button to activate the phone's video camera, record audio and video files on the device, and send details of their exact location to a customized list of emergency contacts.

I met Marion Aunor last year when she was presented during the press conference of Star Records' Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs.  She is really a soft spoken person but lot of things to tell in her end. I think the way she answered all the question that throw to her, she is so intelligent and she really loves music as well.


Last January,  there was a blog conference with her and this time she was very excited and informed us that she is finally a Star Magic artist and was welcomed by Ms. Thess of Star Magic.  According to her there are no plans yet or project for her on TV but if ever she will have she want to portray a Villain or a Psychotic.  Which I don't think would really match her face and character, hahaha.  With her current look, very angelic and not a villain like.  She said abruptly "try me!"  Perhaps it will be a great challenge for her.

After winning third-place in Star Record’s Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs last year, Marion was immediately signed up by the music label. She also became part of the Middle East leg of the “Be Careful With My Heart” world tour. She also become a Star Magic Kapamilya. "Im happy that I get to work with artists from Star Magic. I’m looking forward to be doing concerts with them too", says Marion.

“Marion Aunor” had soft-launched last September at the A.Venue and Glorietta and will be officially presented on air last January 26 on “ASAP 19.” The album has 12 tracks which includes six original songs and six covers. Marion relates that the original music on her album is mostly based on personal experiences and experiences of the people around her. “Unlike most local artists, I like to write my songs and put my own spin on revivals. So I’m very grateful that I was given the freedom to include my original compositions in my album and I was given a say in terms of the cover songs’ arrangement … I usually write songs based on personal experiences to which many can surely relate. In my album, there is a song for everyone, no matter what age and hopefully, no matter what nationality.”
