Derrick Monasterio is very excited with his upcoming album next year. Aside from his new single "Give Me One More Chance" they're still working out other songs to be featured on his album and it will be under GMA Records. If you ask me I only know him as an actor and a dancer. I mostly see him on his teleseryes like The Half Sister, Vampire ang Daddy Ko and Dangwa. Now Derrick offers more and he is now into singing. According to him singing is his first love.
During our interview with Derrick, he shared that he started acting. Now that his now known as an actor it is just right time to also share his talent in singing. On his album there will be original songs that he'll be singing and since his forte is more on the ballad side, expect more love songs from him.
2016 will be a fruitful one for Derrick, aside from his new single he will be having a new teleserye with Kapuso sweetheart Bea Binene entitled "Ana Abandonada". According to Derrick it is another blessing for him and he is looking forward to his new show because he will be working again with Bea, they've worked together with different show and has been part in Bea Binene's docu tv show in GMA News TV and he is also one of Bea's 18 roses during her debut.

Derrick said that he is very happy how GMA Network and GMA Artist Center is handling his career, so much opportunity for him to show all his talents. He would love to do a movie soon even an indie film.
