Being in a bloggers' conference is a privilege already and what most exciting about it is seeing famed actress like the Star for All Season Vilma Santos in person.  Well, I got amazed of how she looks, specially of her age of 35 (wink). It's as if she hasn't aged at all.  One of the bloggers present during the bloggers conference asked what was her regimen, she just simply replied that it was just exercise and a feeling of being happy that comes from the inside.   It indeed shows that she was really happy of her life!

This year Governor Vilma Santos will be celebrating her 50th anniversary in the showbiz industry and as part of it she'll be offering her first intense suspense-horror movie entitled "The Healing". Her experience in filming this movie gave her lots of firsts.

First suspense-horror movie.  Yes this the first time that the Star for All Season will be doing a suspense-horror movie which gave her a hard time shooting it with Direk Chito Roño.  According to her there was one scene that she did have it up to take 7 but later on they finally got it.  Governor Vi also said that if its from Direk Chito we should expect no less from him.

First bloggers conference.  According to Gov. Vi "The Healing" is her latest movie after three years and she was in wondering what was this bloggers conference.  Actually not only her who's wondering but also Direk Chito Roño and Writer Roy Iglesias.  I think they did asked at first what was the difference between a Bloggers' Conference and a Press Conference and later on they were surprised how the Bloggers' Conference goes.

First movie to have 2 ratings.  I think this was the first time in the history of the movie industry for a movie to have 2 ratings, an R-18 and PG13.  Direk Chito, Gov. Vi and the rest of the cast of "The Healing" were very happy that the MTRCB has uphold the freedom of choice by giving the movie a 2 rating.  This will give moviegoers a chance to choose on which rating they will watch the movie.  According to Gov. Vi "if you watch to see more cuts watch the R-18 (kung gusto nyo makakita ng tusok-tusok panoorin nyo yong R-18)"

"The Healing", according to the writer, Roy Iglesias and director, Chito Roño, is a movie that takes on about the Filipino culture of going to faith healers.  It is indeed a part of our culture and this faith healers are the most accessible means of the less fortunate ones when curing their ailments.  Though parts where uncovered and shown in the trailer, still, the gist of the story is blurry.  It still have its mystery effect.

Joining with Gov. Vi on this suspense-horror film are Kim Chiu, Martin Del Rosario, Mark Gil, Allan Paule, Cris Villanueva, Daria Ramirez, Ces Quesada, Ynez Veneracion, Simon Ibarra, Abi Bautista, Joel Torre, Chinggoy Alonso, Mon Confiado, and Carmi Martin, Pokwang, and Ms. Janice De Belen!

Showing in theaters nationwide this 25th of July (Wednesday)!
